The role

Who brings people in.

The engager has a customer base already attentive to its own wellbeing and gathers the connections: it invites people to link the device they already wear. A gym chain, an employer with its own staff, a retail network.

What it gains

A relationship that continues between visits.

The relationship no longer ends when the person walks out. It carries on through the days in between. Habits that improve become legitimate occasions for contact, and the base qualifies itself — no campaigns, no one-off incentives.

What it is not

No clinical role.

The engager does not interpret data and gives no health guidance: it proposes the connection and supports enrolment in the programme. Authority on the substance stays with the guarantor.

Bringing people in is the easy part. Keeping them motivated is the guarantor's work.
